Elm Grove Primary - Outside School

Latest News

In the morning, the school gates will open at 8.45am and close at 8.55am.

Children in years 3, 4 and 5 are able to walk into school by themselves from the school gates.

In the afternoon, the school gates will open at 3:00pm and close at 3:30pm.

Children in years 3 must still be collected from the playground at the end of the school day due to the limited amount of space at the front of our site.

Children in years 4 and 5 are able to walk home with parental written permission. If they are not walking home then the same procedure as year 3 applies.

Many thanks.

Head Teacher Message : Welcome to Elm Grove Primary School

Hello, my name is Mrs Udell and it is with great pleasure that I am able to welcome you to our website. This is an exciting time for us all here at Elm Grove as we continue our journey from a First School to a Primary School.

I am delighted to be the Head Teacher of Elm Grove Primary School. I am very proud of the work that the school does and the children, staff, governors and parents that make up our community. Children at Elm Grove Primary School are lucky to attend such a fabulous school. We believe we help our children to become confident and independent individuals.

Please take some time to have a look around our website using the drop down tools across the top of the page. You will find information about what we have to offer and the wonderful things that happen and take place on a daily basis. If you have any questions then please contact us.

I hope you enjoy looking around and I look forward to the possibility of welcoming you into our school one day.

Mrs L Udell

Elm Grove Primary School is an inclusive, friendly, happy and successful school that sets out to make learning fun, active and challenging for its pupils. We are always seeking ways to learn and improve the standards of educational provision we offer our pupils. Our school is unique in its composition and design, and we put children at the very centre of all we do. We are never complacent and are always seeking ways to learn and improve the standards of educational provision we offer our pupils. We actively encourage all to learn, reflect and question, within a learning environment that is calm and well structured, where pupils feel safe, confident and happy.
