Milk
Pupils who are four years old are entitled to one free 189ml carton of milk every day at school. This is part of a government directive to ensure that all children in the UK receive the nutrients that milk provide and this cost is funded by the UK government.
If your child is over 5 years old and you would like them to have milk to drink in school please register here. This milk is subsidised, by the EU for children aged five or older.
Did you know that one carton of 189ml of semi-skimmed milk is excellent as a mid-morning drink as it provides a nutritional boost and keeps children hydrated between breakfast and lunch; helping them to concentrate, learn and play.
